By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms, you may not access the website or use any services.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates on this page. It is your responsibility to check periodically for changes. Your continued use of the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibility

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration and checkout process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Products, Pricing & Availability

All product descriptions, images, specifications, and prices are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to display accurate colours and details, but we cannot guarantee that your device's display reflects the exact product. Prices are in GBP (£) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time without liability. In the event of an error in pricing or product information, we may cancel or refuse orders placed at the incorrect price, even after order confirmation, and provide a full refund.

📦 Stock & backorders

Items marked "in stock" are usually available for immediate dispatch. If an item becomes unavailable after your order, we will notify you and offer a substitute or full refund.

🏷️ Price matching

We do not offer retroactive price adjustments for promotional sales. However, we strive to keep our prices competitive and transparent.

4. Orders & Payment Terms

When you place an order, you receive an order confirmation email — this does not constitute acceptance of your order. Order acceptance occurs when we dispatch the product(s). We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: product availability, payment fraud suspicion, or violation of these Terms.

Payment must be made at checkout via our secure payment partners (Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments). You warrant that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method. If your payment fails, we may hold the order for up to 3 days before cancellation.

5. Delivery & Shipping

Delivery times and charges are outlined in our separate Shipping Policy. Title to products passes to you upon delivery, provided we have received full payment. Risk of loss or damage to products passes to you at the time of delivery. If you arrange your own courier, risk passes when the goods are collected from our warehouse.

We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, extreme weather, or events beyond our reasonable control. Please ensure you provide a correct delivery address — additional charges may apply for redelivery due to incorrect or inaccessible addresses.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Our detailed Returns & Refunds Policy forms an integral part of these Terms. The 30-day return window applies to eligible items, and certain charges (e.g., collection fees for unwanted large items) are set out in that policy. Your statutory rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015) are not affected.

For faulty or damaged goods, please refer to the Returns Policy; we will cover return costs where the item is defective.

7. Prohibited Uses & Website Conduct

You may not use our website or services for any unlawful purpose, to solicit others to perform unlawful acts, to violate any regulations, or to infringe our intellectual property rights. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:

  • Uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Harassing, abusing, or discriminating against our staff or other users
  • Reselling products without our explicit written permission
  • Using data mining or scraping tools without consent

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the site immediately if you breach any of these prohibited uses.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, product images, and software — is the property of London Houseware or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, or exploit any content without our prior written consent. London Houseware and related logos are trademarks of London Houseware.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, London Houseware shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim relating to your purchase (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

We do not exclude or limit liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) breach of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless London Houseware and its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You access them at your own risk. Any use of optional third-party tools is at your own discretion.

12. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations (including delivery) caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as acts of God, war, civil unrest, pandemic, fire, flood, strikes, or supplier failures. In such events, we will notify you and take reasonable steps to resume performance as soon as possible.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local court, and mandatory consumer protection laws apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect legal changes, operational updates, or new features.
